Iz, Heysi and Sellick formed Dropnose in the summer of '97 in the sunny Northern England city of Sunderland. Taking influences from the likes of Satanic Surfers, Ten Foot Pole etc., Dropnose managed to take the energy of the typical "skate punk" sound and fuse it with something a little darker (both musically and lyrically) to create something all their own.

Unfortunately, Dropnose parted ways in 2000 and went on to form several new bands. After Dropnose, Iz took part in The Autumn Year, The Mercy Suite and is currently playing drums/vocals in Beasts. Heysi played bass in The Sex Maniacs and went on to make up two thirds of The Mercy Suite (with Iz and ex-Astream gutairist Bobby). Sel has been involved with Drag Cars Drive Too Fast and is presently perfoming with Granades.
