New Canon XF605 vs Sony RX100vii pocket camera WHAAAT

It sounds like the craziest duel ever, but a tiny pocket camera vs a "broadcast quality" camcorder? I figured why not. Heck they both have 1" sensors. Yes I pitted my tiny Sony RX100vii compact pocket camera against the all new $4,500 Broadcast quality Canon XF605 camcorder. It sounds insane but this David vs. Goliath will surprise you! The RX has a mic jack, but before blurting out XLR XLR XLR, note that Hollywood always records audio separately for best quality. Camera audio is only used as temp sync track. People are so obsessed with XLR…newer Pro Lav systems used in Hollywood don't even use XLR, that's clunky stone age. The XF605 is not a professional camera. True Pro cameras use three 2/3” sensors, not a 1” and they use interchangeable lenses. The 605 is just an overpriced consumer camera with XLR inputs that can run for extended periods without overheating. It is good for people doing all-day video shoots so obviously these two cameras are designed for different purposes. This video is for fun and entertainment. People with no sense of humor, lighten up and enjoy this fun video. Welcome to the channel of crazy stuff.
By the way- the shots of the two cameras against white were filmed by a second RX100vii in just 1080p !! Look how smooth the shots are. It was handheld. Simply amazing.
