Hola!
hoy mi hermano quiso hacer unos deliciosos pasteles de guayaba, aqui en Cuba no se encuentra casi nunca la mantequilla por lo que usa la manteca pastelera para hacer la pasta de hojaldre, espero les guste esta version.
Ingredientes:
500 gr harina / 4 tazas de harina
1 cdita sal
100 gr mantequilla (1/2 taza)
1 lt de agua (no se usa toda)/ 4 tazas de agua pero no se usa toda
barra de guayaba
azucar moreno para el barniz + agua

4 cups of four
1 tsp of salt
1/2 cup of butter
1 lt of water ( you won't use it all)
guava bar or guava jam
We put the flour in a bowl, dissolve the salt in water and start pouring it into the flour, little by little.
Use more than half of the water but not all.
On a cloth I add a little flour so that the dough does not stick. We spread it well with a rolling pin and we will make a retangle to be able to add the butter, we will make a thin layer all over the surface, fold it in half, remove the excess flour and fold again.This will be done about 4 times, two with butter and two with nothing. The dough is already ready.
Put flour on the table and spread the dough, 2 mm, make a rectangle and 10x10 cm squares, put the guava bar in pieces or jam in the center, close them well and put them on the tray, pass them through water quickly to remove excess flour. Bake at 180 ° C for 20 minutes. Make a varnish of sugar and water so that they are shiny, pass them through the oven for a few minutes to dry.
