Today I am sharing simple and quick
recipe of potato thalipeeth
or aloo thepla or batata thalipeeth.
It is a best option for breakfast
and kids tiffin .

Ingredients:
. 3 medium potato
(peeled)
. 1/2 cup wheat flour
. 1/2 cup chick pea flour
. 1 chopped tomato
. chopped coriander leaves
. 5 -6 crushed garlic cloves
. pinch of carom seeds
. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
. 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
. Red chilly powder
(as per taste)
. pinch of turmeric powder
. Salt as per taste
. oil
Method:
. Grate potatos and wash it
2 -3 times with water .
. Drain complete water from
grated potato and transfer
it in a plate.
. Add chopped tomato,coriander,
salt,cumin powder,carom seeds,
sesame seeds,crushed garlic,
turmeric powder,red chilly powder.
. Mix it properly.
. Mixture will wet due to
salt and tomato.
. Step by step add wheat flour
and chick pea flour as per
requirement.
. Don't add external water.
and prepare a dough.
. Heat tawa on medium flame.
. Grease little oil on it.
. Turn flame low.
. Wet palm with water and
take some portion of dough,
round it.
. Place it on tawa and flatten it
with wet palms.
. Always prepare small size thalipeeth
as it is very easy to turn.
. Cover it with lid and allow to
cook for 1 - 2 minutes on medium -low flame.
. After 2 minutes upper side of thalipeeth
will becomes dry,add few drops of oil
and spread it.
. Turn side,and again add few drops
of oil.
. Allow to roast thalipeeth from
both sides,till becomes crispy.
. When brown spots appears on it
and becomes crispy,transfer it
in serving plate.
. Potato thalipeeth is ready.
. Enjoy hot with sauce,fresh curd,
butter,pickle..
