Being home to Seymour Johnson AFB, one of the oldest fighter communities in the nation, and also famously home to Mount Olive Pickles and Butterball Turkeys.

There's always something gong on in Goldsboro. Whether it's the NC Poultry Festival Beak Week, Wings Over Wayne Airshow, or live music going on in our beautiful downtown, you will not go bored, or hungry! When you visit Goldsboro, you are in for a tasty treat. Our food culture is summed up as so: Brew & 'Cue. Y'all haven't had real eastern NC BBQ, or good BBQ ever, until you sit down at Wilber's BBQ or Grady's BBQ-- both are on on the historic BBQ Trail of NC.
