2 Weeks in Iceland: Ring Road Trip

I visited Iceland last year for only 2 days. On the first day of that trip, I knew I had to return for more. This is a compilation of many of the places I saw along my 1760 miles of driving the ring road that circles the entire island and more (route map shown at the very end of the video).

I left a 7 year corporate career as a professional geologist at the end of 2015 and traveled to Iceland and Peru in the following months. As of October 2017, I'm still trying to find my path forward, trying new things, reading lots of books, learning more about myself along the way. I'm starting to get the itch to go on another travel adventure. But I need to decide where to go. There are so many amazing places in the world!

The song is called "Go Do", and it's by Jónsi, a member of the world famous Icelandic band Sigur Rós. I literally found it the morning I started to make this video. I had other songs in mind for this during the trip, but when I found this, I thought it fit really well.
