Exploring Subotica in Vojvodina, Serbia
In the northern part of Serbia, close to the border of Hungary, sits a small city with some really unique Hungarian characteristics. This city, part of the autonomous region of Vojvodina in Serbia, goes by the name of Subotica. Located about 2 hours or 190 km from the city center of Belgrade, Subotica has many distinct Hungarian features such as the architecture, aesthetics and local cuisine. Subotica also has most of the signs in the city written in Hungarian, in addition to Serbian. Join me as I explore Subotica and experience a little bit of Hungary in Serbia.
