We Skate Yuzuru Hanyu's Step Sequence and Break it down!

In this video, I am joined by world-ranked senior skater Ekaterina Kurakova to attempt to skate one of the step sequences of Yuzuru Hanyu. I picked this step sequence as it was the first thing that popped up on youtube when I searched for Yuzuru Hanyu. I have since seen his new program appear on Youtube and wished I would have skated this one instead. But unfortunately, I had filmed and edited this video before Yuzuru Hanyu performed at the Japanese national figure skating championships.

We show and describe all the different figure skating steps he does, then give it a go ourselves.

*In full disclosure I have to add that I am a fan of Yuzuru Hanyu. It was super fun to skate this program, and the video was made for entertainment purposes.
