WATCH: Barr says reactions to his Mueller report letter 'mind-bendingly bizarre'

In a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., asked Attorney General William Barr whether special counsel Robert Mueller's concerns that Barr's initial letter about Mueller's investigation was not adequately nuanced had been resolved by the release of the redacted report. Barr said yes, adding that he found "this whole thing" "mind-bendingly bizarre" because he "had made clear" he would disclose the report. Kennedy also said he found it bizarre that special counsel Robert Mueller had spent a great deal of time probing the question of obstruction of justice and then did not make a recommendation about charges.
