BRAND NEW Ryko Soft Gloss MAXX 5 Car Wash at Exxon Timewise #801 in The Woodlands, Texas

This is a very special event, I got to film a brand new car wash on the day that it opened! This is a Ryko Soft Gloss MAXX 5 located at 6501 College Park Dr. It replaces the Laserwash 4000 unit that used to be here, which I am rather sad about as it was the best Laserwash 4000 unit in the area. It worked perfectly, so I'm not sure why they replaced it.

The car wash has an excellent coating of presoak and tri-foam, likely the best I've ever seen! That being said, all of the touchless cycles are fast. REALLY fast. I have never seen a 5 brush Ryko system move this fast before. As a result, I think coverage is rather lacking, especially on the spot free rinse cycle.

With the new unit comes an increase in wash price, with the top wash now being $12, which I find to be a bit high for the area, especially given that the top wash on the laserwash 4000 was only $10, and featured basically all of the same cycles.

The Ryko SlimLine dryers seem to do an okay job, but I think the ThrustPro does a better job.

It seems that they kept the undercarriage wash and undercarriage wash photoeye from the laserwash 4000, which I found rather interesting.
