“We want to make sure that America knows this is not something we’re gonna stand for,” said Ja'Mal Green during solidarity protests in Minneapolis against the death of George Floyd, a black man who was killed in police custody. Bystander video showed a white police officer kneeling on his neck for several minutes, during which he shouted, "I can't breathe."
