This pattern also crosses state lines with the music of Louis Jordan (Arkansas), Ruth Brown (Virginia/Washington D.C.), Big Joe Turner (Kansas City, Missouri), Asleep at the Wheel (Texas via West Virginia) and Brian Setzer (New York).
