Moneyline betting is one of the simplest ways to get a piece of the action during football season. All you need to do is bet on the team you think is going to win the game outright.

In point spread betting, the favorite needs to win by the margin listed or alternatively, the underdog has a buffer to lose the game by that margin, or simply win it outright.

NFL prop betting allows you to bet on a wide variety of events that can happen in connection with the NFL.

In totals betting, you're betting on the combined score of both teams at the end of the game. You bet whether the final combined score will go over or under.

With a parlay, you're betting on a series of events to occur. A basic example would be picking the winners of two different games on the same Sunday

A teaser is a parlay where you can adjust the lines on each event, reducing your risk and making it easier for you to cash in.

Buying points allows you to pick up points and move the spread in your favor.

Futures bets are placed on events that won't occur for a while. The most popular example is betting on a Super Bowl winner at the beginning of the season.

Round robin betting allows you to make smaller combinations to mitigate risk of a parlay.
