Public Land GIANT!!! Idaho Elk Hunt - Stuck N the Rut 144

Another Stuck N The Rut video of Social Distancing in the beautiful state of Idaho. This is a tough unit to find any bull in, let alone a big bull. Elk hunting on a general tag can be very challenging, but very rewarding when a plan comes together. Trevor had a glimpse of this bull in 2018 during archery season but never was able to get an archery opportunity. In 2019, he ended up on a trail cam photo, but vanished like the ghost. A couple days before that rifle season, he was spotted, but with the quick hunting pressure on a general elk tag, he vanished once again. Now, it being the year 2020, Trav was anxious to hit the mountains. The weather has been rough, and it discouraged a lot of hunters from spending time in the mountains. Closer to the end of season, Travis and Trevor found a pocket of elk living in a small opening. The colder weather kept the elk moving throughout the day. They were after any bull at this point in the hunting season, just to fill the freezer. After the fog lifted, the bull showed himself. Travis and Trevor immediately knew that this was the same bull that they have seen in the past. They both setup in different locations to better their odds in taking down this beast. Although Travis was farther away, he had the available opportunity to shoot, and there, being no wind, gave him confidence he was going to hit his mark.
