Singapore Airshow 2020: Behind-the-Scenes Challenges

It takes the organiser at least 1.5 years to put together the biennial Singapore Airshow. The main draw for the public has always been the aerobatics performances. This year (2020), 5 sequences are put up by the Republic of Singapore Air Force’s aerial display team, China’s People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) aerobatics team Ba Yi, the United States Marine Corps and the United States Pacific Air Forces.

Ever wonder what happens behind the scenes, though? From removing 60 street lights to installing 15,000 solar panels - these are the challenges of putting together the show.
