(CC) SPORTS STORY | SINGLE OR SERIES: Remembering the Life and Legacy of Clemon Alexander

There is always a story to tell, and Jefferson County graduate Clemon Alexander's is one that should be remembered. A multi-sport athlete for the Tigers, Clemon helped lead the football team to a state championship. On October 23rd, 1983, he was one of 220 Marines and 21 other service personnel killed in Beirut, Lebanon. Forty years later, his life and legacy was remembered at his Alma mater, as a way to help make sure the superstar athlete and military hero will never be forgotten.
