In addition to having her own show, Amber Ruffin is also a writer at Late Night with Seth Meyers. And four years ago, she wrote a sketch for that show that no one has ever seen. She wrote a sketch about what it was gonna feel like when Hillary Clinton won the election—because she was *so* sure she was going to win. And Seth Meyers was so sure, that when she turned it in, he was like, “Yes, go ahead and shoot this.” And the rest of the staff was so sure that everyone immediately got to work making it happen. Later that night, when the editors finished putting it all together, they knew for sure she wouldn’t win, so they filed it away and never showed it to anyone. But to give you a sense of where we were all at four years ago this week… we’re gonna show it to you now.
