Foxbat at the Australian STOL Championships 2019
The inaugural Australian STOL Championships was held at Tyabb airport on the 14th of April and attracted excited spectators and pilots from around Australia
The Foxbat class saw competitors Stan Nowakowski, Peter Brookman, Nick Humphris, Peter Harlow and Kathy Silvestri doing their very best to reduce the takeoff distance and landing ground roll in very gusty crosswind conditions.
Congratulations to Stan Nowakowski - the winner of the Foxbat class at the inaugural Australian STOL Championships 2019. Stan was flying an A22L "FoxyLady". Stan was also the overall champion at an incredible combined takeoff and landing distance of 120m!
