Keeping your Chartermade blade sharp

Keeping your leatherwork knives sharp will not only help you with cleaner cuts and less frustration but a sharp knife is always much safer to work with as you use less force to cut.
This video goes over sharping the replacement blade I make for the lindispensable brass handle.
There is so much I could go over when it comes to sharpening but this is a good place to start. Like anything, sharpening is a skill and with practice it becomes easier.

Jun from "Leathertoolz" has a great channel for leatherworkers and goes over many aspects in well covered detail. He also did a cutting test and this blade was one of the test blades. Link below:
