Gen Ishaya Abamaiyi (Former Nigeria Chief Of Army Staff) was cross examined on the 1997 coup plan at the Human Rights Violation Investigation Commission (HRVIC).
He denied his interest in becoming the head of State after the coup has been executed successfully. He admitted being part of the Coup 1997 Plan.
