10 Overpriced Transfers This Summer!

On today’s top 10, we look at some of the most overpriced transfers this summer. While they weren’t necessarily bad pick-ups, these players were all bought for more than we’d reasonably expect, from Nathan Aké’s £41m move from relegated Bournemouth to Manchester City, to Wolves’ £35million gamble on Porto teenager Fabio Silva.

Leeds also paid over the odds for Rodrigo as they look to make their mark in the Premier League, while cash-strapped Barcelona spent big on Francisco Trincao in an attempt to inject some youth into an ageing squad which was humiliated in the Champions League. We also look at Victor Osimhen’s move to Napoli, and Anthony Knockaert’s permanent switch to Fulham.
