In this clip I'm going to talk about a dynamic in the Jehovah's Witnesses where pedophiles' past (or current) behavior is ignored because they show in interest in the Jehovah's Witness religion. I will discuss my own experience as a victim of sex abuse and how the congregation, and indeed how my own parents welcomed the person who raped and tortured me when I was seven years old. Further, I will discuss the culture of toxic politeness in the Jehovah's Witnesses organization.
