Only 1 Day in Glacier National Park [Part 1] || Going to the Sun Road || RV Full-time Living
A little over 1,600 miles and…we made it to Glacier National Park. But we were only able to enter the park for 1 DAY! Yes, just one day. Was it worth it?! Absolutely. We’d drive that far again for just one day.
*************
We hoped for more than one day in the park, so we didn’t record everything we’d like to share with you. We enjoyed our experience with intention on returning to capture better quality shots for you guys, but weather, work schedules and crowds did not permit us another day.
*************
If you only have one day, we suggest driving the Going-to-the-Sun Road. The views are incredible, just stunning! You cannot capture on video (sorry for the shaky video quality) what you feel and experience as you gaze upon the grandeur and breathe in the refreshing air. It’s soul nourishing! God is just showing off in this park!
We encourage everyone to visit this park if possible, but we suggest planning at least a two-week stay. There are so many places to sit and just be in awe, as well as multiple hikes for more intense exploration of the land and lakes. Also, check out their website before you travel there because some changes have been made requiring advance ticket purchasing.
Here are some links for things mentioned in the video:
-Glacier National Park https://www.nps.gov/glac/index.htm
-To make some yummy steaks check out https://www.traegergrills.com/pellet-grills/portable
-Going to the Sun 411 https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/goingtothesunroad.htm
Until next time...let the good times roll.
