Simple Stresses (Tagalog Strength of Materials)
Hi guys! This videos discusses about simple stresses. Basically stress is the magnitude of force applied per cross section area of an object mesured in N/m^2(metric unit) or lb/in^2(english unit). It is important to know the maximum allowable stress that a body can handle so as we can avoid it from destruction when we apply force or loadings on the object. We have different types of stress depending on the application of force on the cross section areas namely: normal, shear or bearing stresses. We will discuss more about normal stresses in thia video where the applied force is perpendicular to the object’s croas sectional area. We will solve several problems about simple stress in this video. Happy learning and enjoy watching! #enginerdmath #tagalog #strengthofmaterials #simplestresses
