HOW TO MAKE A WOOD CHAIN LINK - A Woodworking Challenge

How I made a wooden 2 link chain from one block of Oak.
I was asked to make this as a wedding anniversary present for Sarah & Mark. Marks stipulations were.
1) From one piece of wood, not cut open and glued back together.
2) Each link approx 5 inches long.

**Challenge Accepted**
This was a tough but fun project to work on. I used pretty much every tool in my workshop, including but not limited to:
Table saw
Band saw
Scroll saw
Numerous hand Saws
Router
Belt Sander
Palm Sander
Hand Sanding
Chisels and many others
