Philips 806 OLED Gets 8 Key Upgrades Including HDMI 2.1 & Anti Burn-In Tech

The Philips 806 OLED TV has received at least eight key upgrades over last year's 805, including HDMI 2.1 (48Gbps, ALLM, eARC, 4K@120Hz, Freesync Premium Pro) & the anti OLED burn-in technology previous found on the OLED+935 flagship.

Other features include 5th-gen P5 AI processor, Android TV 10, 120Hz black frame insertion (marketed as "Fast Motion Clarity"), CalMAN auto-calibration support, four-sided Ambilight, as well as multi-HDR support including HDR10, HLG, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ & HDR10+ Adaptive.

The Philips 806 will be available in screen sizes of 48" (model number Philips 48OLED806), 55" (55OLED806), 65" (65OLED806) and 77 inches (77OLED806).

There is also the Philips 856 with the same picture quality, just with a different stand, available in 55-inch & 65-inch sizes.
