कोलकाता: पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा में नेता प्रतिपक्ष और नंदीग्राम व भवानीपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्रों से भाजपा उम्मीदवार सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने कहा-"हम दोनों ने एक साथ प्रचार किया, इस इलाके में ममता बनर्जी, फिरहाद हकीम आगे रहे हैं लेकिन इस बार वे आगे नहीं रह पाएंगे, इस बार TMC का सूपड़ा साफ होने वाला है, ममता बनर्जी की तुष्टीकरण की राजनीति ही समाज को तोड़ रही है"

ED द्वारा राशन घोटाले में की गई छापेमारी पर उन्होंने कहा-"चोर के घर ED जाएगी, जैसे बिहार में चारा घोटाला हुआ, वैसे ही यहां अनाज घोटाला हुआ, ज्योतिप्रिय मलिक ने जनता को लूटने का काम किया और 75% पैसा ममता बनर्जी के घर गया।"

राघव चड्ढा और अन्य सांसदों के AAP छोड़कर BJP में शामिल होने पर उन्होंने कहा-"जो राष्ट्रवादी हैं वह प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के नेतृत्व को स्वीकार कर रहे हैं, राघव चड्ढा पढ़े-लिखे व्यक्ति हैं, थोड़ी देर लगी लेकिन वे समझ गए कि भारत को समृद्ध करना, देश को मज़बूत करना प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के नेतृत्व में ही संभव है।"

Kolkata: Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly and BJP candidate from Nandigram and Bhabanipur, Suvendu Adhikari said,

On Raghav Chadha and other MPs leaving AAP to join BJP, he said,
“Those who are nationalists are accepting the leadership of Prime Minister Modi… Raghav Chadha is an educated person, it took some time but he understood that making India prosperous and strong is only possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.”
