I made these delicious Spicy BBQ Cauliflower Wings for the Super Bowl 🏟 and they were a hit!!! Also, rumor has it, JLO eats her veggies to stay healthy and fit at 50, so obvi it’s safe to assume she’d nosh on these cauliflower wings🤷🏼‍♀️ just sayin.... These crispy flavorful wings are the perfect addition for your tailgates, parties, and dinners! Cauliflower Wings



BATTER

1/2 cup gf flour mix (or sub other gf flour)

1/3 cup coconut flour

2 tbs cornstarch

2 tbs homemade ketchup (or sub tomato paste)

4 tsp garlic powder

4 tsp onion powder

2 tsp parsley

5 tsp smoked paprika

2-3 tsp hot sauce

Sprinkle salt

2/3 cup water or unsweetened almond milk+ more if needed



WINGS

1 head cauliflower (cut into florets)

1 16 oz firm tofu (drained, pressed and chopped or torn) optional



SAUCE:

3/4 cup coconut aminos

1/3 cup Trader Joe’s hot sauce

2 tbs apple cider vinegar

2-3 tsp smoked paprika

1 tsp chili powder

2-3 tsp garlic powder

1-2 tbs homemade ketchup(or tomato paste)



INSTRUCTIONS:

If using an oven (I used my air fryer, but oven works too) preheat to 450 and prepare a pan with parchment paper. For the batter, blend everything in a blender or food processor. Coat your cauliflower and tofu in the batter. Add some extra cornstarch and toss to make it extra crispy. Bake in the oven for about 20 min flipping them halfway through. OR place a thin layer in air fryer at 400 for 20 min shaking the basket halfway through.



For the Sauce:

Add all ingredients into a saucepan and whisk together over medium low heat. Turn down to low and let simmer. When the Wings are done, toss in the sauce. Eat and enjoy or add back into the air fryer for 5 more minutes! I like to serve mine with homemade plant based ranch and veggies, but feel free to do what ya feel!
