Once Upon a December, cover by queenbodicea - The Romanovs

This is for my brother "E". I finally got around to recording this song from the 1997 animation film "Anastasia". However, I wanted to sing it in Russian because the story is loosely based on a real Russian family. I've never seen the animation although I am familiar with the tragic end of Tsar Nicholas II and his family, as well as the story of Anna Anderson, who famously claimed to be the Russian Grand Duchess Anastasia who allegedly survived her family's sudden execution on July 17, 1918. "Once Upon a December" is a beautiful song and I decided to set it to slides of the beautiful Romanov children and their parents. The music, lyrics and photos belong to their respective owners. The voice is my own.
