Custom Twelfth Doctors Sonic Screwdriver (Red Setting)

S04E04 - This is my custom Red Setting Twelfth Doctors Sonic Screwdriver. Although we never actually got to see the red setting on the show, we did get to see Peter Capaldi show off his new sonic screwdriver during InnerSpace Presents: Doctor Who and shows us all of the settings including the Red Setting. Ever since i first saw that i knew i had to get the red setting. I started out by taking a standard 12th Doctors 2nd Sonic Screwdriver and first i removed all of the electronics. Next i added the new electronics from a spare sonic core, i then installed 5 new red LEDS into the emitter and wired them into the new core along with a new switch. The middle acrylic rod on the emitter has been extended so it sticks a bit further, the claw section has been flipped round so the smaller pins are at the front and the bigger pins at the back. Finally i added the small grub screw to the back of the emitter section just to make it look a bit more accurate.
