Tenerife: Suddenly surrounded by whales! Whale watching in the Canary Islands

Our whale watching boat was surrounded by pilot whales shortly after leaving Tenerife's Los Cristianos port. We continued to see dauphins and swim off-short on this whale watching trip. Definitely one of the top five things to do in Tenerife.
