Trolleybuses Return to Route 41 Vancouver For Two Days

After an absence of almost two decades trolleybuses returned to Route 41 in Vancouver on the 8th and 9th of April 2020. They are to return full time 22 June 2020 when the 9 - BROADWAY trolley line changes to diesel buses, and the 14, 16 and 17 trolley routes begin detours on new wiring. The overhead wires on 41st Avenue west of Dunbar Street have been upgraded in preparation for the return of trolleys. These changes are taking place due to construction for the extension of the SkyTrain line west from VCC - Clark to Arbutus St.
