Quebec distillers see distribution options dry up as SAQ drops hundreds of products
After years of a booming industry, Quebec distillers are worried about their future after the government-owned liquor store and distributor, known as the SAQ, announced plans to cut hundreds of products from its offerings. The distillers say the move severely limits how products can be sold — because so much is controlled by the SAQ.
