Linear Actuator Robot Arm
Initial experiment using linear actuators to do the heavy lifting for a robot arm, using simple parts from a hardware store. The set-up has no trouble moving 2kg at full stretch, suggesting that a torque of 20 Nm should be no problem, at a fraction of the cost of a similar spec servo set-up.
