Peter Hitchens lambasts ‘moral pressure’ of face masks in school

Columnist Peter Hitchens has criticised the “moral pressure” to make schoolchildren wear face masks in the classroom as they return to school today.

Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, he said: “This is a revolution we’re going through. A revolution in which we are becoming daily less free, less individual, more regimented and more subject to intolerable social pressures.”

Millions of children have returned to the classroom for the first time since December under the first phase of the government’s road map out of lockdown.
