How Hackers Use Emails to Take Over Your System: Phishing

Demonstration of how attackers/cybercriminals take advantage of promotions, events, holidays, etc., using email to entice you to click on a link. Once you follow a link to a site that looks like the real site, the attacker can take over your browser. In this demonstration, we use a tool called BeEF (Browser Exploitation Framework) to gain control over your browser.

Another tactic often used for Black Friday and other events, is to direct you to a website that looks like the real site and trick you into logging on to that site, so the attacker can steal your credentials.
