and welcome to this Mid Century Home Makeover | 1960s Wallpaper Transformation!
I’ve been dreaming of turning this wall into a statement wall for the longest time and it’s finally here. I've been spending the past two years turning our place into the 1960s mid-century style home of our dreams and this transformation feels like the missing piece.
The wallpaper was kindly gifted to me by Wallism, and it couldn’t be more perfect. This wall is over 5 meters tall, spans two stories, and winds beautifully around our spiral staircase. It was definitely a little tricky to wallpaper (to say the least!), but the result is simply stunning: bold, retro, and right at home in our space.
I’ve been in full nesting mode lately, and this project has brought me so much joy. There’s something so satisfying about seeing our home come together in this way , it feels cozy, personal, and truly ours.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a statement wall of your own, I can’t recommend it enough. This makeover has truly brought the room to life!
