Von Vigo bis Redondela geht die 4. Etappe auf dem Camiño Portugues pola costa, also einer Variante des Portugiesischen Jakobsweges der an der spanischen Atlantikküste von A Guarda über Vigo nach Redondela führt. Daher kommt auch die Schreibweise Camiño anstatt Caminho.
Der Weg dieser Etappe führt durch Vigo, durch Wälder hoch über dem Meer, vorbei an einem gigantischen Steinfisch und an der "wahrscheinlich schärfsten Verkehrstafel der Welt" bis nach Redondela, wo der Weg in den Caminho Portugues Central mündet.

Part 4) of the hiking-path of the "Camiño Portugues pola costa" takes us from Vigo to Redondela and we will pass by a giant stone-fish and the "sharpest trafic-sign on earth"
The "Camiño Portugues pola costa" is a section of the Caminho Portugues da Costa, the coastal path from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. When you get to Caminha - at the north-west point of Portugal - you can eighter go on towards Valenca & Tui, like most hikers do, or you can take the path along the spanish coast from A Guarda to Oia - Vigo - Redondela.
