'Negative impacts' of social media can be 'mixed'

Headspace’s Head of Clinical Leadership Nicola Palfrey discusses the “negative impacts” social media has on children.

This comes amid calls for the government to increase the age limit for social media to 16.

“Young people’s experience of social media are mixed,” Ms Palfrey told Sky News Australia.

“They can be exposed to content they find distressing.”
