Engine 502 and Truck 50 Take in Reported First Due Fire

Shortly after 23:00hrs the first alarm assignment was struck for a dwelling on Willow Valley Drive in the 50 first due, bringing the Truck and Engine as well as units from Lampeter, New Danville, West Willow, and Blue Rock. Engine 502 laid in and stretched the 400' apartment line to the front door. Crews investigated and found a heavy smoke condition in the second floor, but no source of fire. Soon after the cause of the smoke was traced back to a burnt up motor in the heating unit and the box was place available. Taken 3/5/19

Engine 502 is a 2010 Pierce Arrow XT.
Truck 50 is a 2003 Pierce Dash.
