Kubernetes CKA Practice Question #11 – Creating a DaemonSet

In this video, I guide you through Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Practice Question #11, where we create a DaemonSet named ds-important in the project-tiger Namespace. Using the image httpd:2.4-alpine, I demonstrate how to configure the DaemonSet to run on all nodes (both master and worker) with specific resource requests of 10 millicores of CPU and 10 MiB of memory. Additionally, we assign the required labels id=ds-important and uuid=18426a0b-5f59-4e10-923f-c0e078e82462 to the Pods created by this DaemonSet.

This video is perfect for anyone preparing for the CKA exam who wants hands-on experience with DaemonSets and resource management in Kubernetes.

Key topics covered:
- Creating a DaemonSet in Kubernetes
- Assigning resource requests for Pods
- Running Pods on both master and worker nodes
- Using labels for organizing and identifying Kubernetes resources
