‘Smears and fake news’: Keir Starmer faces legal threat over rally bans
UK Barrister and Broadcaster Andrew Eborn reveals several banned speakers are preparing legal action against Keir Starmer over accusations of extremism.
A number of the people who were banned from talking at the Unite the Kingdom rally over the weekend are planning to sue UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
“There is so much misinformation and disinformation,” Mr Eborn told Sky News host Rita Panhi.
“We’re drowning in a sea of fake news if you like, where debate is shut down by these labels, and they’re basically smears.
“A number of the people who were banned are going to threaten to sue Keir Starmer because of it.”
