'Humanly Possible', with Sarah Bakewell | The Rosalind Franklin Lecture 2023
On International Women's Day 2023, Sarah Bakewell delivered the prestigious Rosalind Franklin Lecture at Conway Hall in London, where she delved into the life stories of seven radical, humanist women throughout the past 700 years, and revealed how, against the norms of their times, each chose to think for themselves and act for everyone – and in so doing, changed the societies in which they lived.
