I walked from the Museum of Contemporary Art to the end of Icaraí Beach.
Icaraí Beach is located in the Icaraí neighborhood, in the city of Niterói, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. It is the most famous beach in the city. It is located in Guanabara Bay. It usually hosts public events, such as the traditional New Year's fireworks show. It houses two rock formations that are symbols of the city: Pedra de Itapuca and Pedra do Índio, as well as two important buildings in art deco style: the Icaraí Cinema and the Rectory of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF).

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Niterói (MAC) is a museum of contemporary Brazilian art located in the city of Niterói, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The work was inaugurated on September 2, 1996. Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer, MAC became one of the postcards of Niterói. It is mainly intended for works belonging to contemporary Brazilian art from the 1950s to today. The museum has a collection of 1,217 works from the João Sattamini Collection. [1] A collection brought together since the 1950s by the collector João Sattamini, constituting the second largest collection of contemporary art in Brazil.

Built on the lookout of Boa Viagem, on the edge of Niterói, the museum, with its futuristic facade, allows the visitor to enjoy panoramic views that are offered outside the museum, from the patio, or inside the museum for a look through the window ring that divides this gigantic "concrete plate" into two lanes.

A Praia de Icaraí está localizada no bairro de Icaraí, na cidade de Niterói, no estado do Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil. É a praia mais famosa da cidade. Está situada na Baía da Guanabara. Costuma receber eventos públicos, como, por exemplo, o tradicional show de fogos de artifício no ano-novo. Destina-se principalmente a obras pertencentes à arte contemporânea brasileira da década de 1950 até hoje. O museu possui um acervo de 1 217 obras da Coleção João Sattamini.[1] Um conjunto reunido desde a década de 1950 pelo colecionador João Sattamini, constituindo a segunda maior coleção de arte contemporânea do Brasil.

Construído sobre o Mirante da Boa Viagem, na orla de Niterói, o museu, com sua fachada futurista, possibilita que o visitante desfrute de vistas panorâmicas que se lhe oferecem quer fora do museu, a partir do pátio, quer dentro do museu por um olhar pelo anel de janelas que divide este gigantesco "prato de concreto" em duas faixas.
