This one’s for all our design enthusiasts. "The Grammar of Ornament" by British architect and designer Owen Jones might be one of the most colorful books of all time. The lavish and vivid chromolithograph illustrations offer a comprehensive analysis of styles of ornamental design he encountered on his travels to Europe and the Middle East, as well as his visits to museums in England, and particularly the objects on display at the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations in London in 1851.
