K11 Nissan Micra - Installing a new battery - In sort of under ten minutes! (Recorded in January)

It's my first car video of the year!!!!!!!!! (Recorded January 2020)

And, it is one that could be useful for those of us affected by reasonably chilly winters. Replacing the battery on a K11 Micra. You will need...

- A suitable battery, the K11 uses an unusual battery type, tall, thin, with small posts

- a 10mm spanner

Disconnect the negative terminal, followed by the positive. Remove the battery bracket, remove the battery. Replace the battery, replace the bracket and connect up, positive, followed by the negative terminal.

Start the engine, check that the voltage is around 14.5 volts at idle, fast idle and around 2-3000 RPM.

Test drive optional, but recommended. Apply vaseline to the battery terminals.
