Oscar-nominated actress Danielle Brooks returns to her hometown of Greenville, South Carolina, the location that shaped her dreams. From discovering August Wilson as a student at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts to using a monologue from The Piano Lesson to earn her spot at Juilliard, Danielle's journey started right here.

Now she's giving back, bringing the Century Cycles Continues Monologue Competition to Greenville to invest in the next generation of young artists. Danielle walks the streets of downtown Greenville, revisits Falls Park — where she found out she was accepted into Juilliard — and shares why this city will always be home.
