The Biggest Problem With Altcoins (LTC, XMR, BSV, BCH, etc)

In this video, I discuss 3 big problems with many altcoins:

1) They exhibit lots of slippage (trading cost to get in and out), which makes them poor candidates for institutional investors.

2) The cost to wage a 24-hour 51% attack against them is too low.

3) There is very little demand for their block space, as exhibited by low daily total transaction fees.

Why invest in something if no one wants the product?

Bitcoin (BTC) and ETH are the only two cryptocurrencies that pass all of these tests.

BTC seems to be driven mostly by the "digital gold/store of value" narrative, while ETH is driven by huge demand for it as collateral and gas in the DeFi (decentralized finance) ecosystem.
