Indian actors visit Russia: Rare Footage of Raj Kapoor and the birth of Awara cult status in Russia

Indian actors like Raj Kapoor, Nargis Dutt, Nirupa Roy, Balraj Sahni, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Saleel Chaudhary, Vijay Bhatt, Chetan Anand, Dev Anand, K.A.Abaaz, Anil Biswas and Bimal Roy visit Russia for the first time. Raj Kapoor and Nargis Dutt in a ballet version of Romeo and Juliet shoot in Russia.

The film fraternity from India is received by the Ministry of Culture of the Soviet Union with flowers. They also visit the war memorial apart from the many activities they conducted while on the 30-day visit in Russia.
