🚀 Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost Successfully Lands on the Moon—Historic Video Released! 🌕

Firefly Aerospace just became the second private-sector company to soft-land a spacecraft on the moon, and they released video from the moment its Blue Ghost lander touched down on the lunar surface.

Blue Ghost shared the footage after successfully deploying an X-band antenna, which will transmit vast amounts of data and images from the vehicle back to Earth.

The video, captured as Blue Ghost descended just north of the Moon’s equator in the Mare Crisium volcanic basin, shows the lander steadily approaching the surface before making a perfect upright landing on its four legs.

Blue Ghost is expected to study the Moon’s surface for two weeks, collecting crucial data until lunar nightfall, when extreme cold and darkness will prevent its solar-powered systems from operating.
